God or Monster

In Japan you have a saying “Customer is God”, right?

Yes, it was originally said by an old Enka singer

Mr. Haruo Minami

To show my art to the audience,   my mind must be very pure as if I were in front of God!!

Then …

I am God!! Serve me as I order!!  Give me money if I am not satisfied!!

Under such pressure, workers get sick, even commit suicide…

Customer is Monster, right?

I did, too…

モ(moh) is a katakana moji for example: モンスター(monster)

I lived in a small town in Japan as a town clerk until middle age with no experience living abroad at all. My major at university was Japanese literature. An innocent Japanese has come to America!!
